Hip, counter-serve seafood nook providing a lobster-centric menu, sports on TV, and non-alcoholic beers.
Everything was absolutely delicious. So glad there's a new lunch place in the area. Will definitely be back. Food and service was excellent.
What a gem! I'm so glad I got to try this new place in Woodland Hills. I tried their Connecticut Roll , fries and a side of Clam Chowder and everything was so delicious! Service was great and the place has an amazing vibe. I will definitely be back and try other things on the menu. Highly recommend!
This place just opened and I've already been twice! Very cool vibe inside with wood paneled walls & lots of TVs. The service was very welcoming and eager to help. Food was incredible and came out fast. We got a couple of lobster rolls and the lobster Mac n cheese. The lobster was generous for the price. I'm a bit particular about my lobster rolls and I'll say these rival any I've had on the East Coast. The bun is perfectly buttered & toasted and the lobster is lightly dressed. We'll be back soon!
This place is a danger to my health and my wallet. I live less than 5 minutes away. I'd been waiting for this place to open up and thankfully it is! I walked right in and picked up a menu. Everything sounds delicious, I'll have to come back and try things out one by one. I spoke to and placed my order with the owner, real nice dude. The whole vibe of the place is relaxed, chill, very casual but not tacky at all. I went in the middle of the day but I can see this place becoming very busy later on. It's in a random part of Redondo, near the post office across the Dollar Tree but I think that's an advantage. Nobody else sells what they sell and if anyone does, clearly no one is talking about it. I personally love seafood, especially lobster rolls so of course I had to order one. I got the Clobster roll Maine Style which has chilled crab + lobster, 10/10 on flavor for me and 10/10 because it's crab and lobster. I would only say 0/10 because I ate it too quickly and wished I had more. The sweet potato waffle fries were good but I'm more interested in other menu items likes their lobster grilled cheese, lobster bisque, and lobster quesadilla to name a few. I'll be back for sure!
The service is exceptional! I've tried one of their lobster rolls, lobster bisque, the calamari, lobster quesadilla, and now the lobster grilled cheese & tomato soup! They definitely don't skimp on any lobster and the pricing is great for the quality of food you get. I strongly recommended both the lobster bisque and tomato soup! For the lobster main meal.. you can't go wrong with a lobster roll! The lobster grilled cheese was perfectly crisp and loaded with lobster too!
Wow, what a benefit it is to live walking distance from here. Small place with comfortable ambiance. Lots of screens for sports viewing. As good if not better lobster rolls than what Boston has to offer, service is fine and they just opened. Excellent, excellent fries, best I've had in years, We shall become regulars.
Been waiting for a place like this! Next to Hop Saint, this place is another real deal spot for Redondo Beach! My first time I ordered the Maine Style Roll, a cup of clam Chowder and some fries. Soup was flavorful and the best I've had locally. The roll was on the small side, but loaded with lobster, crunchy celery slices and mayo, served in a traditional split garlic bred slice. The fries were crunchy and seasoned perfectly, and served with a seasoned mayo dipping sauce. Can't wait to get back to this spot!! It is the real deal!
OMG so excited to have a lobster roll place local in the South Bay! The vibes are so fun and the roll was so fresh! The bun was toasted so golden brown and crispy, you can get ur lobster hot or cold. Super fresh, the owner said he goes to the market daily. My only regret was not ordering the fries! I'll be back tho!
This small restaurant in a strip mall right on Artesia is a nice addition to the neighborhood. It's very casual-- seat yourself, order from the bar type of place and someone brings your food, served on disposable plates, to your table. The food is good, and the menu has a decent selection of sides and other items if lobster isn't your thing. The desserts, sides and beer are really affordable which makes up for the cost of a roll. But that's to be expected-- lobster ain't cheap. Service wasn't particularly friendly but they got our food out quickly. We will definitely be back.
I picked this up on the way home on the recommendation of a family member who tried and loved it - the clobster roll was amazing (crab and lobster combined). I had it warm and I already know that I'm going to be craving this roll going forward. The clam chowder was also super creamy and delicious! I will definitely be back to dine in. Delicious!
Been waiting for them to open for a few months and the wait is finally over, Food was very good, more than filling and reasonably priced for what you get. Clam chowder is rich, thick and buttery, loaded with clams in a word delicious! Lobster rolls look a little on the small size but looks can be deceiving, unlike some other restaurants you get nice chunks of lobster meat, not small little bits, in the end lobster rolls are stuffed with meat and very filling. Tacos were very good and filling. Small order of tots were more than enough for 3 people to share. Several craft beers to go with your meal, at about $30 per person with sides, tax and tip.
Nice addition to the neighborhood! Very busy with good vibes. Staff were swamped, but maintained great attitude. Loved the 'calamari fries'. Tender strips of calamari steak with a crispy panko crust & a slightly spicy dill aioli and cocktail sauce for dipping. The Maine lobster roll was fresh, tasty & full of lobster.
I had an incredible experience at The Lobster Guys in Redondo Beach, CA! The food was absolutely amazing, with a fantastic range of flavors that delighted my taste buds. The selection of seafood was incredibly fresh and prepared to perfection. Not only was the food outstanding, but the music selection added a unique and entertaining element to the dining experience. The energy and enthusiasm of the employees enhanced the overall ambiance of the restaurant. The music selection complemented the atmosphere wonderfully, creating a lively and enjoyable environment. The attentive staff made me feel welcomed and ensured that my dining experience was memorable. I'm already looking forward to returning to The Lobster Guys for another wonderful meal, great entertainment, and a delightful evening. Highly recommended! New England on the West Coast...
First timer and didn't disappoint. We made a quick right into what appeared to be an alley but it was actually destined to the huge parking lot. There was an entry from the back as well. We were greeted by the guy taking orders, he quickly explained how ordering works. Which was simple. View menu get in line and be ready to order. Then go bk to your seat and wait. We ordered Clobster, Connecticut Rolls and half fries with tater tots. All the food was hot so granted you will wait. I did have to add salt and pepper and that's ok. I rather add than it have too much seasoning. I thought the portions were perfect! I can appreciate a good lobster roll w/o having to leave SB area. The ambiance is chill vibes with old school jams playing. Very clean and neat. Added : Tiktac toe at tables and Pac-Man machine by restrooms. You should never be bored lol mb just famished
We walked in and ordered 2 different lobster rolls. They give you a number and bring the food to your table. The place was filled with happy people. The East coasters were thrilled. We were so happy with our 'rolls'. Generous lobster delicious! The fries were over seasoned but because the lobster was so good, I give it 5 stars. Ambiance was pub-sports-rock and roll. We so enjoyed it.
10/10!!! They got everything right from the petite lobster tail, the roll, wings and even the fries. The condiments that come with are superb. The guys are also so humble. Can't wait to be back!!! Ps. Keep up with the 2000s music!
